Megan McCain has entered the chat. All right. Welcome back to Citizen McKing. We are back from vacation. Marinda, I really appreciate everyone being so worried about where we were. It doesn't matter how many times I say we were on vacation. People still are like, where are you? What's going on? And it was nice to have a break and I actually felt like pretty rested. But last night, I stayed up very late watching the DNC. I don't know why these things are on so late. I don't understand why they can't start earlier. Apparently it's's an East Coast West Coast thing, but everyone knows that the universe runs on East Coast time. So I don't know what we're doing. And having Joe Biden get on after 1130 at night felt for me, like, really disrespectful. And I just didn't like that they had him on so late. He was supposed to be in prime time. Yeah. And I don't understand. I mean, I understand having him go last because that's when like, that's like the VIP slot, I guess, is you close the night with your biggest person. But also, isn't everything just kind of like you can watch anything whenever? So why are we like beholden beholden to this, like, really archaic schedule?

I don't get it because I wasn't able to watch it because of the schedule of it was when I was doing dinner and bedtime and bath and my evening routine and stuff.

And I was only able to catch, like, a lot of just bits and drabs like drips and drabs

in the tail end of what he was trying to say. So it's the same thing. I was up too late trying to

catch it, but at the same time, it was on right in the middle of my evening. So it's just either way,

it's a shit show. You can't either way. I would just start way earlier.

Like, why can't you start it at like five o'clock and then like go from there?

You and I aren't in charge, but it's a total for me, at least.

It's like a total misfire.

But there is one topic that we have been texting about and our team has been texting

about that we did want to talk about, which is Blake Lively, who is the

actress that I know best from Gossip Girl, married to Ryan Reynolds. She is currently on a

press tour for her new movie, and her co-star and director has been, Justin Baldoni has been

largely absent from group promotional appearances,

including the New York premier. So if you have seen any of this, they're all like doing interviews together and then he's separate. And there are reports there have been a lot of

creative clashes from the movie. Like just a lot of drama. It kind of reminds me of don't worry,

darling, a little bit. What do you make of the Blake Lively drama? Is she in the

downfall, J-Lo era of her career? What's going on? You know, Blake Lively, her reputation is like a

boomerang. Sometimes it's like really up high and people are super into her and they love her. And sometimes it's just really up high and people are super into her and they love her and sometimes it's
