Welcome back to the Dersh show. I've been watching the hearings today about the Secret Service

and everybody seems to acknowledge that this was just one of the worst blunders in American history.

We've had horrible blunders in the past, Abraham Lincoln, was assassinated.

After they tried to shoot him once before,

they actually shot a bullet through his stoke by Pat.

And the guy who was supposed to guard him,

one person was supposed to guard him.

He was the commander-in-chief of an army that was at war, obviously, with

Confederates. The one guard that was supposed to guard him, who was no secret service at the time,

went to a saloon during the intermission and didn't come back.

And so John Wiltsmuth just was able to walk into the President's box and put a bullet through

his head.
