Summary

Dan Prosser and Andrew Frankel tell the story of Bentley, from its founding by WO Bentley more than a century ago to the present day. They discuss the early racing glories at Le Mans, the road cars that followed, the seemingly endless financial woes, the merger with and eventual split from Rolls-Royce, Volkswagen's takeover, the current model range and the cars that are coming down the pike. Bentley is very profitable today, but much less so than it was. Can that be fixed?
