Well, good morning, everybody. Thank you for joining us here at the National Shrine. I'm Father Chris. We're glad that you are with us.

Freezing cold, but we still have some people here. It's awesome for you to be with us. Today, I'm going to be doing a talk that's very interesting because two years ago, just about two years ago, I did a similar talk with this this title but it was only up for a couple hours

we got about 17,000 views and then we had to take it down and so I've I've went back to this talk

I've updated and I've made some changes I've've even shortened it. And so if you were one of

the 17,000 that saw it, some of it'll be the same, but there's a lot of stuff that's added new.

Because what is today's topic is the famous example that I'm a good person. I'm really not

worried. My loved one who died, I'm not really worried. You know, they may have

been in a same-sex relationship. They weren't going to church. They really didn't practice any

kind of faith, but they were such a good person. So I have no worries that they're going to get to heaven. Well,

what did Jesus specifically say and what does the Bible directly say we need to do to get to heaven?

And surprisingly, none of them say, you only have to be a good person. and so that's what we're going to talk about today

so let us begin in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen heavenly

father we ask that you send the holy spirit down upon us to open our minds and our hearts

to receive the grace you wish to bestow the grace

that will lead us all here to eternal life.

And we ask all this through Christ, our Lord.
