My name is Dan Koch. Like many of you, I've been on a complicated faith journey for a number of years now.

And while I tend to find myself on the progressive side of Christianity, my goal is not to make liberal converts.

I want this show to be a resource for Christians to my right and to my left, as well as

former Christians and non-religious folks, anyone who finds themselves asking difficult questions

about God, science, prayer, fate, suffering, evangelism, and more. So many of us have been given bad answers to those good questions, often by people with

pure intentions.

I want to say that you have permission to take both Christianity and the modern world very

seriously.

And I hope to facilitate that by introducing you to people seeking God across

the Christian spectrum, engaging hard questions in a multitude of ways. Thanks for listening.

Hi, everyone. It's Kristen here again, just adding a little intro at the start of this episode.

And mainly that's because this episode is on anxiety. And I've had anxiety. Many people I know

have had anxiety, including a lot of family members and friends.

And I just wanted to say when I first heard this, I got so stoked. I was messaging Dan. I'm like,

oh, I can't wait to share this with like my family members and they're going to love it. And it's just such a

refreshing perspective that Curtis provides

about how anxiety is normal and it's not this thing that we just have to push it down

or feel like we need to overcome it. And that was just really encouraging to me. So I guess what I

wanted to say is if you have someone you're thinking of and you want to share this with them, I would just go and do it.

It's a great opportunity to encourage someone, give them new resources, and maybe connect on

something that you otherwise wouldn't have. So yeah, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
