War.

Hey Bing, I want to talk about your essay on World War 3 and Novels.

Run through the first four quickly, if you would.

It was a writer and as a novelist.

It did strike me that novels give you supposedly an insight into human nature and character

and what novelists think is important.

So I went back to say, well, all right, now everyone talks about China and there eventually

will be another war, like there's another hurricane.

It may or may not be China, but that seems to be our focus.

So what have people been saying about large wars rather than a small one?

So I went back and I read these five novels, all of them within a couple days and all

five dealt with World War 3.

And the first three, the focus was on Russia and the Soviet Union and the last two, the

focus was on China, but what struck me when I was finished reading and put it down, that
