critique from Liverpool's point of view. I thought the application in terms of sticking it out

under the cash, under the examination that we were going through. Mentality was there.

He's never had to make that many saves in the game.

And to make those saves, as we were saying earlier on, before we started, the variety of

saves was what was impressive.

You know, his trademark coming out and smothering a guy who threw on goal, full lengths,

you know, dives and pushing the ball away, saving from free kicks,

which were bending in the top court.

I mean, everything that came at him,

he saved, you know, pushing the ball out,

diving out into the pack and pushing the ball away.

Everything, you know, you couldn't get a better masterclass

on how to be a goalkeeper than that.

It was the full repertoire, wasn't it?

And John touches on it earlier, and he had to be spot on, because it wasn't just the saves.

Like, keeping the ball out of the net, the fundamentals of goalkeeping was one thing.

But it was the manner of the saves, it was the type of the saves, absolutely.

But it was the fact that he was purposely managing to maneuver the ball away from danger and out of sort of the way of possible oncomers

in terms of PSG players and stuff like that.
