Aaron Glenn made about the Jets quarterback position last week. Glenn singled out Justin Fields for praise.

But in singling out Justin Fields for praise, some are speculating he may have made a little

dig at Aaron Rogers. Glenn was speaking largely about the leadership

Fields was providing to the team. He's said many things, but one of the things he said about

Justin Fields is there's nothing fake about him. He's just himself and he's not trying to be a

celebrity quarterback. Now, it was a much longer quote, and the context of it was really Glenn

going all out to praise Justin Fields. But that celebrity quarterback line drew a lot of attention

because of the player the Jets let go this offseason. That, of course, was Aaron Rogers, who

really fits the definition if you're talking about a celebrity quarterback in the NFL.

Rogers is one of the most famous players in the league, a guy who's a constant presence in the media,

a guy who is a constant source of controversy. So when you make the comments, Justin Fields,

in praising him, is not a celebrity quarterback. People are going to draw the insinuation that maybe you're taking a little dig at the guy
