which was bringing back some crazy memories because 10 years ago, to the day, July 31st, 2015,

I was also at Giants Camp.

And what happened?

That day, the Mets traded for Ioannis Cespina.

So with the anniversary coming up, I decided to go back into the

archives of WFAN

and bring back a little segment we like to call

WFAN flashback. So I take you back

to write around the trade deadline. Now, back then, the trade deadline was at 4 o'clock. The trade deadline this Thursday will be at 6 o'clock. So a little bit of a difference. So which show were you on? We were filling in for Mike Frances. Oh, so you were in the afternoon, even though you were a midday show. Well, let me tell you a little secret about the old days. Joe and I did middays, except between the months of July and August. Then we were the afternoon show for two months. Because Mike never worked. He's betting on the ponies. Exactly. So we had the honor, if you will, of being at Giants Camp doing the afternoon show in the midst of the MLB trade deadline. And when we found out

about Yoannis, I haven't heard about this or I haven't heard this in 10

years, it made me laugh because

it reminded me of how Joe wouldn't
