On Sunday night, we learned that congressional leaders had finally brokered a deal on a roughly

$900 billion stimulus package, which would be an enormous deal under any circumstances,

but was especially exciting given how long it took them to reach an agreement.

Yesterday, Senators Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer went to the Senate floor and said that an agreement had been

reached that they were going to be moving towards a vote as soon as possible,

and that that was going to start the process of getting aid to millions of Americans that have really been waiting quite a long time for it.

We've agreed to a package of nearly $900 billion.

It has packed with targeted policies that helped struggling Americans who've already waited entirely too long.
