in a second. But first of all, I wanted to get your views quickly on the latest Trump news,

which is that his attempt to appeal for presidential immunity in

relation to the January 6th indictment, it's very hard to keep on top of all the latest

legal shenanigans with Trump, but that so far, well, the story yesterday was the judges

seemed skeptical of his claims that he has presidential immunity. Daniel, I know you're not a constitutional

scholar by trade, but you do seem pretty up to speed on the Constitution. What is your

understanding of presidential immunity? And do you think it applies to Trump in relation to January 6th?

Well, Trump is making a very, or his lawyers, rather, are making a very sweeping claim. And they're

basically saying that the president cannot be prosecuted for his actions during his administration.

In theory, it would seem to make the president above the law completely. And their claim is that,

well, you have the impeachment process, which Congress is responsible for while the president is in office.
