The IRS is cracking down on high-income earners who don't file tax returns.

The agency says it will start going after taxpayers who haven't filed returns,

but who likely had income of $400,000 or more.

Its crackdown is thanks to funding from the Inflation Reduction Act.

New York Community Bank is in turmoil, Its CEO resigned and the company disclosed

Brazil is proposing a global tax on the super-rich.

It unveiled the idea at a meeting of finance ministers from the group of 20 countries,

including the US andS. and China.

Such a tax could bring in as much as $5 trillion over 10 years.
