0:00.0	If you pick the ball cleanly off the grass, then you've lost 25 to 30 yards on your iron shot because the golf shaft was not allowed to bend as a reaction to take in the divot.
0:13.0	And that's how the irons are designed. Not taking a divot is probably the key fault with a lot of golfers.
0:19.0	They say to me, they don't want to hit the ground
0:22.1	first six inches behind the ball. I don't want you hit the ground first either. And that's where we work with them and train them to hit the back of the ball. Imagine if you're out there fishing with the fly rod, the fishing pole is going to have a lot of whip to it. It's like a catapult. It's not a firm, stiff fishing pole.

0:39.6	kind of flips the line out there. Well, that's what the shaft of the iron does. The shaft bends
0:44.8	with an iron and it catapults a ball out there as a reaction to taking the divot. You know,
