Doom in Avengers Doomsday, maybe some answers can be found by revisiting the MCU film

that explored the history, the legacy and the faults of his more famous variant,

Tony Stark, Iron Man 2.

This 2010 sequel was truly the film that

broadened the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it today, with Easter eggs, including

an Illuminati icon on Tony Stark's phone that could tell us the 838 universe origin

that his Doctor Doom variant could come from, and a simple rule for how confusing recastings

could be handled in Doomsday.
