It has been 279 days since Hamas and the Palestinian people launched an attack against Israel on October 7th.

Israel was not the only country affected that day. 45 U.S. citizens were killed on

October 7th, an additional 12 civilians were taken hostage, 8 of them still remain in captivity

with 3 of them confirmed dead, and 5 with a status that quite frankly is unknown.

Because of this, Biden has been promising ironclad support to

Israel but with multiple failed peace talks it begs to question how effective is the

United States policy in the Middle East right now.

Let's be honest, this war hasn't just taken a toll on Israel, it's also taken a toll on

Americans pocketbooks with US fleets over inside of the Red Sea and the Mediterranean

there was the US pier inside Gaza that is now being shut down not to mention

two US Navy SEALs lost their lives while boarding a vessel in an attempt to stop weapons flows from Iran over into Yemen.

Additionally, on January 28th, three US service members lost their lives in an attack in Jordan.

Additionally, 40 more were wounded with 8 of them needing to be medically evacuated from

the country.

U.S. warships inside the Red Sea have been repeatedly attacked by

Huthi militants and it seems like there is no end in sight. Today we're going to be

looking into U.S. policy in the Middle East from October 7th, all the way up to

day 279 to see just how effective we have actually been.

Today I'm going to take you guys over in the Gulf of Aden and of the Red Sea.
