Nordame's spring practices in the books, but it's NFL draft week, and Nordame has several prospects that will be drafted, others that will be signed as free agents.

Before we get into that, there's been a transfer since our last podcast.

Noah Boykin, the talented quarterback, has decided to leave Notre Dame.

I don't know that any of us are shocked by that.

He's a talented player out the door, but Nordame needs to cut down to

get to their 85 scholarship limit. And I don't think any of us three are surprised at Noah Boykin's

leaving Notre Dame. I mean, you never did anything during true ball. If he was getting first team

reps, if he had basically had a spring like every day, if he had, he was getting second team reps, if he had basically had a spring like every day.

He was getting second team reps.

If you just switched Noah Boykin and Avery Davis in their reps, then I would have been surprised if Noah Boykin left.

Sure, yeah. He was freaking buried on the depth chart.

And when you're buried, you're not playing, you're in a place that's, you know, tough, you know, a curious fit is probably

the nicest way I can put. No Boykin, Notre Dame. And like Brian Kelly said, he's an

off-profile prospect. Lawrence Keyes is the same. You're not going to click on all of them.

Probably not going to click on most of them, but he was a guy worth rolling on the dice on it.

In some ways, it's probably better that you know before his freshman year comes to an end than sort of meander through three years of trying to make it work.

If it's not going to work, just try something else.

Yeah, I liked him. I liked the chance they took on him because I thought he was a good cover guy.
