And we are recording our Irish Illustrated Insider podcast a couple days after Notre Dame's Echoes Awards.

We were pretty good.

We didn't do too badly.

We were in and around the area, a couple surprises.

I think maybe the main one was a little bit of a surprise, just kind of anticipating how we thought Notreame would, the players would vote for most valuable

player.

But anything surprised you there from Friday night?

Pete and I were at the event Friday.

Yeah, I was surprised that Ian Book was the MVP, considering not that he only played in nine

games, but he only started nine games.

You know, the last time they had sort of a half-season MVP was Joe Schmidt, and that

wasn't a very good half-season.

And they won the other games that Brandon Woodbush started.

Right, the Joe Schmidt, they were like, as soon as he went, I'm like, oh, yeah, that makes sense.

Yeah, they were really good.

They played, and then they couldn't win again.

As soon as they went in the tank.

I mean, I think everything else was pretty straightforward.

I'm always curious, like,

in sort of a deep cuts B-sides way of who the scout team players of the year are.
