And a couple of days ago, our guest was, went by the title of special assistant to the president for athletics at Notre Dame.

And as of Monday, he is now the vice president and

director of athletics in Notre Dame. Welcome, class of 93 Nordame graduate, Pete Bavakwa. Pete,

thanks for joining us. Tim, it's, you know, it's great to be here. And I kind of like that special

assistant title. It was kind of mysterious, you know? Yeah, that was pretty good.

But vice president, director of athletics, I think fits you, fits you real well also.

I do want to, before we get into you and your background and all that, and I, and I,

we did listen into the wake up the echoes segment, thought that was really, really good. And I, we did listen into the Wake Up the Echoes segment, thought that was really,

really good. And I know that you talked about Jack Swarbrick. And of course, we were around Jack

Swarbrick for the last 16 years. And you worked with him for about five years, right? While you

were at NBC and negotiating contracts, et cetera. And, you know, I was just, you, one of the things that you said about him in the wake

up the echoes was how progressive he is.

I don't know.

And the reason I'm bringing this up, Pete, is because I don't know that Nordame fans have

a full appreciation for just what a tremendous job that Jack Swarbrick did in his 16 years.

And you talked about him being progressive.

Maybe you can lend your perspective, your insight on Jack Swarbrick.
