And guys, for two months, probably the beginning of December, we have been

hammering home the point that the Irish coaching staff could not be considered intact until

Super Bowl week after the Super Bowl. Next December, I don't think we're going to need to hammer that

home quite as much. People should be getting used to it now as Chris O'Leary chooses the NFL path

joining Jim Harbaugh's Los Angeles Chargers.

Yeah, and as we outlined really pretty clearly last Thursday on the pod, not a surprise.

I think O'Leary had initially rebuffed the Chargers' advances, but he has a long history with

Jesse Minter, the defensive coordinator.

Chargers came back, I think, with not just more money,

but just a pitch that I think appealed to Chris

and allayed some concerns that he might have had.

And there you go.

It's not an uncommon move.

I've made the point on some football scoop work
