Yesterday was Media Day at Notre Dame.

We had access to Brian Kelly, all 10 assistant coaches,

and not a full-length practice.

But we did get to see, Tim, I think you pointed out in its analysis.

We saw a lot yesterday because that was the first day of prep for Louisville, and we got a good idea based upon that who's going to be the front runners for the Louisville game.

Aside from the infamous net practice, that was the most revealing practice I can remember. It really was. We got to see, because there's always questions we can't

answer during the year. You don't know who gets sent down to the demo squads, because you can

guess a lot of people. But for Louisville, now we know, and Brian Kelly, when he's, what he kind

of mentioned, hey, those might not be the scout team players overall.

I'm sure one or two will flip and get up there.

In fact, they're going to do it today or tomorrow, but there's a good look at who some of the scout team guys are going to be.

For a reminder of those that don't know what the net practice was, it was Brandon Wimbush's inability to hit it last. Remember, we were told we were completely wrong in our evaluation and that it doesn't

matter if you can't hit a net by his people.

It ultimately did.

I have a question for you guys later in the podcast that involves a net that was

posited to me by a reader that I thought was kind of an interesting way of like what

are we confident in that we might are like maybe we're wrong or what are we confident in

that like we're just confident in this is happening and like the net was like that's going to be a problem

the net comes back into play well so we before we talk to the assistants with brian kelly

addressed the media.
