We got Tim Prester from Irish Illustrated with us on this morning to talk a little bit about the upcoming Sugar Bowl.

Getting ready for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to duke it out

down in New Orleans for a chance to move on to the college football playoff semifinals.

So we're going to take this episode to learn a little bit about Bulldogs,

learn about the Fighting Irish, and get a feel for how this

game is going to go down in the Superdome. So Tim, how's it going for you this morning? We're

recording this right before the holidays. How is everything treating you? Doing well, Jordan.

Looking forward to, you know, Nordame, Georgia, two of the bedrocks of college football. So always great.

Nordame hasn't played in the Sugar Bowl in 18 years. I was a much younger man back then.

So looking forward going back to the big easy. Yeah, I think it's going to be a good time

right around New Year's. It should be, make for a very fun trip for both sides.

And Tim and I are going to kind of bounce back and forth.

So the folks listening to both these podcasts can kind of learn about the opponent.

And I want to start with you, Tim, and going back to that first round game for Notre Dame,

2717 win over Indiana, honestly wasn't really that close until I guess maybe the last

three minutes, two minutes.

But what set out to you from that Notre Dame win?

What impressed you the most about what the fighting Irish accomplished in that game?

Going into the game, you know, it was all about can Notre Dame impose its will on them

physically?
