We saw our final preseason practice of the preseason. And we got a little bit of

a surprise boy who went in there. And again, I don't want to, I don't want to indicate that this is

etched in stone. But today when we went out there, it looked as if Pat Coogan was getting number

two reps at center, which is probably

you know, his job behind Ashton Craig. And then at left guard was a surprise. And left tackle was a

surprise as well, Sam Pendleton at left guard, Anthony Knapp at left tackle. Again, not

interested in stone. But there's a reason why

that was seen by the media as soon as we walked in. J.B., start us out here. What are your thoughts on

that? Yeah, I just, I don't think this staff is in the business of wasting time or squandering reps when they're coming up

on pretty much their penultimate practice of spring camp or excuse me a preseason camp

and so camp the camp portion wraps up this weekend they're not wasting time giving reps

reps even if we just see 40 minutes and five periods they're not they're not wasting time giving reps, uh, even if we just see 40 minutes and five periods.

They're not,

they're not wasting time giving reps unless I think there's real competition there.

And I think Sam Pendleton is pushing Kugan at that left guard spot.

Coogan has to be trained,

uh,

at backup center because Notre Dame has to be prepared in that regard.
