It is USC week, a little bit of the luster lost by Notre Dame's 33 to 20 lost to Louisville last week.

They've won a bunch of them.

I've only lost in 2011, so that would be five.

One every once in a six.

Five in a row.

And they might have lost twice in 2011 if you want to count it that way, but I think it's still five.

That would be.

You know, again, lost the luster a little bit.

But I made the comment today's Thursday thoughts that Notre Dame should feel like they're going to win.

And a lot of people don't feel the same as I do about that.

I'm not asking the fans to feel good about winning,

but Nordame should. There are just a few weeks removed from going head to head with Ohio State,

and Ohio State's defense is a lot better than USC's. I get what's happened the last couple weeks,
