Welcome back, everybody, to another edition of Irish Illustrated Insider. It's June 3rd. I'm Tim Priester with Tim O'Malley, John Bryce, Pete Sampson. We have a lot to talk about today, guys. We had an opportunity. There were, I believe there were 12 of us in the room on Friday afternoon to talk with Marcus Freeman.

Had a bunch of questions for him.

We talked on the record, off the record.

And then Sunday was Irish invasion.

Pete Sampson and I were there.

We'll talk about that a little bit.

You're going to get plenty of commentary from Eric Thomas and

Drew Mentock on tracking the trail with Kevin Sinclair. I believe that we'll record on Tuesday.

But until then, I'm just going to throw it open to you guys. We were all there. We were four of the 12 there on Friday with Coach Freeman.

And we talked about this in our instant analysis.

So Pete, let's start with you, just some of the things that stood out with our conversation

with Marcus Freeman.

I thought that he seemed like a third-year head coach, which is a big difference

for a second-year head coach.

And I whirled away from a first year head coach

when he even referenced like I don't think he said I don't know what I was doing but like

he was like you just like how do you do a practice I mean we're a long way away from how do you

set up a practice plan and I mean they need it because this is this is a roster that is built to

win a heck of a lot of games this year and should grow with its head coach. So I thought he just

seemed very comfortable, you know, when the year three stuff came up, he didn't really engage it, didn't really

duck it.

But I get the sense that he knows, well, unlike last year, he knew privately the defense
