We're a couple days after Notre Dame's technical upset of Georgia Tech in terms of being a two and a half point underdog going into it.

But based on what we saw in the press box, looking at the tape after, it definitely did not

look like an underdog performance from Notre Dame based on everything that we saw.

Notre Dame's physical superiority and talent took over.

Of course, you have to have a good game plan in order for that talent and physical superiority

to be in a position to take over.

And that's exactly what happened, a tremendous defensive game plan, which I don't know,

maybe we should have anticipated because of how much brainpower went into

formulating that plan with Bob Elliott doing the off-the-field stuff.

But really just a great performance.

And Pete, you mentioned it.

And I was thinking the same thing, that when you get Justin Thomas to call timeout on the third snap of the game

and the general confusion that he faced as a dynamic quarterback for Georgia Tech.

You know that you're heading in the right direction.

I was most impressed if you remove the final minute that Notre Dame just kept getting stronger.

Defensively, offensively, as you mentioned, physical superiority,

that's what you get when you're physically superior and mentally locked in.

Defense kept getting stronger as the game went on.

The offense certainly started wearing them down.

The offensive line was getting a better push.
