It's Monday, December 21st, couple days after Clemson, manhandles Notre Dame and the ACC championship 34 to 10.

Boy, it's a different feeling going back to the playoffs than it was two years ago.

Something to celebrate two years ago.

Something to celebrate this year, too, because it's

been a really good football season.

But, you know, the ACC championship obviously went sour in the second quarter, the same

way the Cotton Bowl did against Clemson two years ago.

And waiting on the horizon is this little upstart football program that goes by the name of the

Alabama Crimson Tide and did the line go up it opened at 17 and a half I'm sure it has gone up

19 and a half that that will continue to go up I checked it out the uh as you would guess it's the

biggest spread um playoff history,

but by a touchdown now at 19 a half, by a whole touchdown.

Pete, you did, I think we were both in the airport yesterday

when I think we both made a mistake on Twitter of saying

Notre Dame Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

Did you do that too?

Yeah, yeah, I think that that because I was trying to watch it

from the air on American Airlines Wi-Fi, which is like more like dial-up that you can pick up.

And I read that it was the sugar bowl. So I went with that and then it was like, well, wait a minute.

They're going to a Rose Bowl in the Cotton Bowl instead.

In fairness, Alabama was told the Sugar Bowl because Alabama also put out something saying Sugar Bowl.
