Quite a bit has happened in Notre Dame recruiting.

A little bit of team news in the last couple weeks here.

Jay Brunel joins Notre Dame.

Landon Bartleson joins Notre Dame, but first let's talk about Aaron Banks,

Notre Dame starting left guard.

We were a little caught off guard with news that he had minor foot surgery.

You know, what they say?

It's minor when it's not your foot.

But that was the way it was described to Irish Illustrated, minor foot surgery, maintenance was you know what they say it's minor when it's not your foot

maintenance was a word that was used precaution

was a year a word that was used but a bank's had surgery and we'll see how

quickly he recovers now it's a it's a big guy on a small bone

you know it's it's something that would concern me if I was known regardless if it's minor precautionary

or whatever term you want to use to make it sound like it's not bad.

I mean, the fact that it was sort of reported as he'll be fine for camp means he's not fine

right now.

So it's a recovery process for a big guy who needs to be in really good shape

and he won't be able to really condition a whole lot.
