This is Irish Illustrated Insider. It's Monday, September 23rd, two days after Nardames's 23 to 17 loss at Georgia. I'm Tim Priestler with Tim O'Malley and Pete Sampson.

Norentime at Georgia was, I guess we should say, beyond what we expected because we didn't,

I think we are all in accord on what Nordame could do offensively and point-wise, you know,

about where they were.

It was the defensive side of the ball that we did not think Nordame was going to have success.

Instead, the linebackers played, in my opinion, anyway, the best game I could

have possibly imagined. They did a good job of slowing down the running game, but in the end,

that 16-0 run to start the third quarter when Noradame's offense was dormant, was just too

much for Nordame to overcome. Yeah, it was incredible. I mean, the environment was incredible.

The run defense was so much better, the environment was incredible. The run

defense was so much better than I would have expected. The offensive line in pass pro was much

better than I ever would have expected. I mean, it's like, Norename was a three to one pass to

run team, and Ian Book didn't get sacked.

He attempted 47 passes and was not sacked.

So that is a win for the offensive line.

And I'm sure we will get into quite a bit of

the procedural penalties and the noise

and sort of apparent lack of preparation for it.

But very little of that what I put on the offensive line.

You know, I would put Liam Mikenberg's personal foul on Liam Mikenberg. That's how that works.

But I think my biggest skepticism is of Notre Dame and why I thought they would lose by a considerable

margin is they weren't going to be able to stop the run and the offensive line wasn't going to
