This is Ivers Illustrated Insider. Thanks for joining us. It's Monday, March 29th. I'm Tim Priester with Tim O'Malley from Ivers Illustrated, joined as usual by Pete Sampson from the Athletic. And we have a practice to talk about. We didn't get a chance to observe it in person, but we did get a little video from Notre Dame. We had interviews of Brian Kelly and a few players. And so guys just, and again,

we try our best to take everything with a grain of salt when you watch a three minute video

clip of a two hour practice. But there are limits to that, I guess.

Just your first impression, guys, of what you saw in that three-minute clip provided

by Notre Dame.

I mean, offensively, I think that they've got a lot of work to do on the line, which

Brian Kelly talked about after practice.

But I think the flip side of that is Jordan Betelho looked like he was potentially a very disruptive player.

And Jack Cohn reminded me about what a quarterback looks like with some like size to him.

You know, Notre Dame has not had a quarterback with

some like physical stature probably since Deshaun Kaiser in terms of height. So that looked a little

bit different to me. But I mean, overall, it's, I think this is, it's unfortunate that we're not in

there because this is probably the most interesting spring practice that any of us would have

covered in a long time. But that video kind of confirmed that. There's just a lot of stuff

that's interesting to me. Yeah, and I thought, just even listening to Kelly when he's like,

you know, I'm not really sure about the identity, because how could he be really sure?

You can't run the offense he ran last

year if your offensive line doesn't gel and your second tight end doesn't become one of your

six best offensive players, right? Then if not, then you say, all right, we can't do that. We got to go

to more of a basic speed look, one running back, Michael, or Michael Mayer, one running back, and three wide receivers.

But he has no idea if he can do that yet,

because he has no idea what his wide receivers can do, along with Jack Cohn.
