I'm Tim Preacher of Tim O'Malley from IRISOllustrated, joined by John Bryce of the Football Scoop and Notre Dame with the big 66 to 7 victory at Purdue this weekend.

Everything, other than injuries, everything was pretty good coming out of Rossade Stadium,

but other than injuries is a little bit bigger than normal this time around.

Jordan Batello, Marcus Freeman just announced at his 1230 Eastern Time press conference

here on Monday that Jordan Batello will be lost for the year with a knee injury.

And as we found out, we were optimistic about Craig with the way he left the field, et cetera.

But as we found out shortly thereafter, and it was officially announced today,

Ashton Craig will be lost for the season.

The best news is with right guard Billy Shrout.

He'll be out for a few weeks. Let's see if I can say this straight as opposed to instant

analysis. They expect him to miss the Miami of Ohio and Louisville game. There's a bye week then,

and then Norrame host Stanford. I think the hope is that maybe they can have them back for

Stanford, but realistically,

as we all know, we've gone through these scenarios before. It's more likely that Billy Stroth

will be back for the Stanford game. Guys, these injuries create a trickle-down effect along the

offensive line and a defensive end. Let's talk about that a little bit.

I feel like it's a great opportunity for Spindler and it won't kill Notre Dame in this short term.

I think Spindler will answer the bell here. Be interesting. Shroth comes back healthy,

what they can do with the guard position. Maybe it is. W.A.V. does become three to make two. Like we had anticipated it might happen in August. Cugan
