Pete Sampson of the Athletic, a special Wednesday edition because there's a special

football edition game on Friday.

And it's the fighting hours.

There's still a seven and a half point favorite

in this game. Lots of talk about alternate uniforms and Marcus Freeman wearing a black hooded

sweatshirt during his teleconference with the media today. We'll talk about that a little bit.

But I think, you know, we've talked about Northern Indian a lot, and obviously we will

even more in the second segment with questions, but Iris Illustrated, John Bryce and I did a

instant analysis yesterday, talked extensively about the Pete Mavacqua gathering with the media

yesterday. Pete Sampson, how would you like to chime in on anything that Bavois?

Well, I mean, just the impression of Bavakua made, which I think was very, very positive.

Yeah, I mean, it's nice that he finally did that.

You know, he's been on the job full time for nine months.

And he's really good at it, too, which was, I think, kind of one of the things you're like, it's not like somebody you get up there and you're like, oh, God, I hope he doesn't misstep.

Because he gives off a great enthusiasm as if, you know, he reads the Four Horseman Lounge.

Like he's a fan athletic director.

And I think that the fan base has been sort of dying for that kind of enthusiasm that he delivers.

You know, they're going to push every boundary to win football games at Notre Dame.

And they're going to spend every dollar they can to do that.
