Notre Dame went online with their classes last week. Norning football was interrupted for a couple

days, but they returned to the practice field on Saturday. And we're back. 18 days from kickoff, Tim. We're still counting

down the days. I think we're more optimistic than we were a few days ago when we did this,

but that tends to ebb and flow. But real quickly, Nordim football, 232 more tests, five positives,

six were our sideline with contact tracing. And for the

university, they've now tested more than 3,200 people. 30 tested positive on the 23rd. There's

been a total of 448. I'm not exactly sure what all that means in the grand scheme of things.

But in orderning back on the practice field, we got a little bit of special teams to talk a few other things.

The news for us, I think we talked about this on our podcast last Thursday

when Pete Samson joined us,

we all thought it's going to be more than five.

And we're all worried what the number would be that would alarm people.

Would it be 10?

Would it be nine?

Would it be all of a sudden or people are going to take less three times as many? Five is not what I was expecting. And I think

if you are looking for a reason to keep going, you will take five, especially with six contact

tracing. Everyone has to deal with it. I don't think it's that terrible of interruption because your alternative is not playing.

So I think Brian Kelly and his coaching staff

have adapted to that new reality.

They really have.
