We are, it's April 15th, and Notre Dame is down to 12, 13, 14, 14, 4, 4 practices, 3 this week, and then, of course, the blue gold game on Saturday.

But this past Saturday, we had a real treat.

The only way it would have been better is if we were able to sit out in the 68-degree weather down near the action.

But we were up in the press box.

I'm not complaining.

I'm just saying that would have been nice to get a little bit of sun down there because

there's a great day in South Bend.

But Nordame Scrimmaged, I counted 77 plays, but I don't think I counted the kicks.

Marcus Freeman said it was in the 80s.

And it was by and large dominated by the defense.

There were a couple series there where the quarterbacks had a little bit of success,

especially C.J. Carr, but by and large, it was defense dominated.

I wrote a story this morning, and I realized it's kind of after the fact.

It should have been saying on Thursday, hey, man, defense is going to dominate this scurvage.

But look, it's a spring, veteran defense El Golden, third year, new offensive line.

It transpired pretty much the way you would expect with a new offensive line and a defense that's going to be really, really darn good this year.

At some point, right now I'm trying to do my film review without film for X things to say.

And at some point it was like 25, 23 offense in segment seven or eight.

I'm like, no, it's not.

They're not ahead.

They were never ahead in this game, in my opinion.
