A lot has happened since last week's podcast.

I'm Tim Priester with Tim O'Malley from Irish Illustrated,

joined as usual by Pete Samson of the Athletic.

And the two main things,

obviously, that came out of Saturday, Tyler Buckner being of the athletic. And the two main things, obviously that came out of

Saturday, Tyler Buckner being named the starter and the unfortunate news about Avery Davis in

his sixth year suffered a torn right ACL on a jet sweep, no contact, just like the way he tore

his left ACL last year against Navy.

But let's start with Buckner being named.

I think we said in the instant analysis,

I don't know that we were anticipating the naming of Buckner as a starter on Saturday,

but they want to get a jump on it.

They want him in charge of the offense over the next three weeks.

I like it most because the way it was explained by Tommy Reese was, hey, you know, there was a,

there was a moment, even though there wasn't a moment that makes a decision where you look

and say, this is what we want the offense to look like.

Why delay it anymore?
