The news came out on Sunday that Notre Dame, as expected, is going to the Camping World Bowl.

We were pretty uncertain about, I think I wrote about all four

opponents at one point, and then the athletic threw up Kansas State. I'm like, oh, my God.

But it is Iowa State. Seven and five, Iowa State, coached by Matt Campbell, kind of interesting.

Always a guy that, a name that you hear as a potential candidate for Notre Dame down the road.

Iowa State's better than seven and five, but I realize that most people aren't going to look beyond that.

They had one-point losses at Oklahoma and against Iowa.

They had a two-point loss at Baylor in September and then lost by fairly narrow margins to Oklahoma State and at Kansas State.

They had a three-point win against Northern Iowa as well.

They did have a three-point, and a two-point win against Texas.

Escape Drake to end last season.

Oh, wow.

Well?

Love the Drake.

Offensively, a pretty good football team.

And defensively, with John Haycock, they've done some really good things.

He's been there four years when you consider the Big 12 and how offensive-minded it is.

They've done a pretty good job.

It's probably of the four teams, as far as balanced offensively and defensively,
