I'm Tim O'Malley joined by Tim Priestier of Irish Illustrated as well as John Bryce of football scoop.

By weekend is over, guys, and now the biggest game of Notre Dame season, at least for Irish fans, if not the program itself.

Texas A&M comes to town, but we can all agree one-on-one and ranked eight or higher

is a far cry from O&2 and out of the conversation for a couple of months.

So for fans and media and analysts and anyone not named Marcus Freeman or Mike Elko,

this is the biggest game of the season.

Well, one-on-one puts the Miami game in a completely different perspective.

Now you're saying, yeah, you know, that was a road, three-point loss on the road.

People are already saying it nationally. They moved up.

Yeah, they did move up to number eight. You know, yeah, you need to put it behind you.

O and two would be, it's going to take a whole season to live that down.

I think they'll play much better.

You know, we anticipated a Norden would come out of the gate a lot faster than they did against Miami,

and they didn't.

But I'm pretty confident, especially with an extra week that Marcus Freeman is going to

pound it into them,. It's full go time

against the Aggies when they come to town this weekend. J.B., your thoughts on Mike Elko taking

a third crack at Notre Dame. I know it's been all over our board, but I think some people forget

that it is a third crack at Notre Dame because of the Duke affiliation. But three years in a row,

he should be well-versed in what he's looking at.
