officially step down on March 25th to be replaced by Pete Mavakwa. Jack, good to see you. Welcome.

Thanks. Great to see you guys. I'm used to seeing you standing outside a building giving

your instant analysis of something.

You ever actually stop and listen to that or you just figure I'm just disregard it and keep on walking?

Well, I listen to it on my computer. I always want to know what happened.

We once had Brian Kelly join us in Instant Analysis.

And we want to touch on several subjects.

We've got about 45 minutes or so, and we certainly want to go over the list of accomplishments,

which I think are many.

I have a few of my own favorites beyond the brick and mortar ones of the campus crossroads

project, et cetera.

But I think, you know, for the interest of our listeners, we want to get into talking about present day college athletics,

present day Notre Dame's position within college athletics. And it's a, it's a tricky

proposition these days. There's no doubt about it, Jack. Where is, as you hand the baton to Pete Bavocca, where is intercollegiate athletics headed?
