You're listening to IRISolar Spirit and Insider. It's Monday, November 8th, Norrame coming off of 34 to 6 victory over Navy to move to 8th and 1 on the season.

We'll find out on Tuesday where Nor Dame is in the college football playoff poll.

They were number seven in the AP poll, though I guess there isn't a

whole lot of correlation much anymore these days now that the college football playoff poll has

started. But Nordame ends up doing an excellent job against triple option football. The Nordheim's

defensive interior really blew everything up. Once they started controlling led by Kurt Heinish,

once they started controlling the interior, there is no triple option to be had.

Nordheim's offense finally picked up a little bit. You know, it's, they go scoreless in the

first quarter, scoreless in the third, bunched together 17 points in the second and fourth

quarters, a little sporadic

offensively, but is enough to get in order to end to 8 and 1, guys.

Yeah, he's overall strong performance defensively.

And, I mean, it was so strong that like the misfire sputtering parts of the offense in

the first quarter really didn't even matter.

The defense was so good

that you could sort of move past that very quickly. So it's a lot of credit to Marcus Freeman,

but also Mike Elston because, I mean, there was no bigger blowout on that field than Notre

Rames' defensive line against Navy's offensive line. And that that goes beyond just talent

where Notre Dame had a huge

advantage. But like technically Notre Dame just, they bragged all them all game. Yeah, the,

uh, talk to Pete about this walking up. The last three first half matchups against Navy,

zero points, three points and three points allowed by Notre Dame.
