I am Tim Priester with Tim O'Malley from Irish Illustrated.

Pete Sampson back with us on Irish Illustrated Insider, Pete Sampson from the athletic.

And we had planned to mainly talk about Clemson today.

And there are a bunch of questions in segment two about Clemson, but a little bit of information popped up here this morning.

And it's not a surprise at this point.

Clark Lee, Notre Dame's successful defensive coordinator of the last three years is expected to take the Vanderbilt job as head coach.

We will talk more about candidates for that job at

Notre Dame in segment two when we address the questions. But first of all, let's just state this

up front, although I do think that's one of the questions in the second half, but we do believe

that he will stick around as long as Nordame is in the

playoff picture.

So that would mean,

you know,

win or lose,

Nordame's in the playoffs and he would stick around for the first game.

If that first game is unsuccessful,

then he'll head out to Vanderbilt.

Otherwise,

we expect him to be around for Nordame playing into the national championship game on January 11th.

Guys, your thoughts on, I don't know, just Clark Lee, him choosing Vanderbilt.

I think we're all impressed with the person and the coach.
