Well, it's not the $250 million contract that Brian Kelly talked about one week ago today

when asked whether he would leave Notre Dame of his own volition.

But it appears that it might be in the nine-figure range for seven years.

As it appears that Brian Kelly is leaving

Notre Dame to go to LSU.

Yeah, he can go from two really good sources saying no, he'll be back, and we'll be finding

out that he's back very soon.

It certainly doesn't seem like it now when you dig a little deeper and talk to people

that uh that that would be even in more in the know it's it's a shocking development if true

um i guess silence is uh silence should have been an indicator here right it was it'd be a pretty

easy to have in the in the modern world of twitter and everything else and press releases, it would have been pretty easy when someone's on the West Coast to keep recruiting

to handle recruiting by being in someone's living room and say, of course, I'm staying at Notre Dame,

but we have not seen that yet. So we are under the assumption it's going south in this coaching

surge and going north for LSU. It's about 840 here, Eastern time in South Bend.

It was about 7 o'clock that I was told that Brian Kelly was coming from California to South Bend

and that within 24 hours, an announcement would be made saying that he was staying there.
