And we'll talk about that briefly, but there's a lot to talk about with USC. We met with

Marcus Freeman, one of the better, more informative, I don't know, just more enjoyable press

conferences that we've had here in recent weeks. But Norden 84914, there really wasn't much

doubt. The word that Marcus Freeman used was violence before the game. And he said today,

it could have been physicality, speed, velocity. But the main thing was, don't be tentative.

There's a tendency to be tentative against triple option offense. That is not what Notre Dame was

Saturday night. Yeah, I made a comment a couple of places that Notre Dame was,

the respect had to be after the game because they were talking every play defensively.

I mean, they were hitting them.

There were conversations watching that game off the ball.

Everything was happening.

Notre Dame's defense was not there to mess around.

It was clear that the old

Alohe Gilman Navy thing of they want every single blade of grass, you got to take it from them,

was taken to heart years and years later from guys that don't know Alohi Gilman and it's a different

team. But they played in a dominant fashion defensively. If your player of the game is Jeremiah Love,

your other player of the game is Al Golden

for schooling this team for nine months to be violently athletic and never miss an assignment.

Drew Mentock mentioned to me there was a wheel route where Xavier Watts was all over it.
