Samson from the Athletic. We just spoke with Brian Kelly a little bit ago, and nothing earth-shattering

other than Javon McKinley,

Norton's best wide receiver, will be available.

Braden Lenzie, not yet, but he's on track to take the week off with the rest of the team

next weekend and then be ready to play at North Carolina.

Javon McKinley is really important to this team now. There's no doubt about it.

Blocking all year, but he's come on with the best game of his life at the most important time.

And the second best game of his life against one of the best corneries he's face. So at this point,

you really want Javon McKinley to continue to grow. I didn't think he was in real protocols.

Just because Pete, I mentioned this to Tim.

He did an ESPN interview, but obviously he's just been a little bit above the protocol

where they knew he'd probably be able to play and they were being safe until this point.

Yeah, I mean, it's significant because they don't, they already don't, are short on depth

at wide receiver. So to go any lower than that is, is tricky.

So, yeah, I mean, aside from just coming off the best game he's ever played,

you know, I think we talked about earlier in the year.

We wanted the snaps of McKinley and Austin to flip and Austin to be in the ascendancy.

Well, he's done for the year.

And there's no one else to take those snaps away from McKinley.

So they need him on the field because if he's not out there, then, you know,
