Mike, thanks for being with us today.

No, appreciate you having me.

I've always kind of been the master of none you know it was a

swing offensive lineman backup for so much in my career so it's uh the more you can do becomes the

model that you live by that's right but you stepped in when you were needed most for a team that went

12 and 0 so that was always a fun time mike you know there's a lot of topics for nondon football

right now it is it is interesting when you look back to not your career, then even before that,

just how much things have changed, how much the calendars changed.

We talk a lot during recruiting that, you know, I remember as a kid growing up,

reading Blue and Gold Illustrated and Loose emoji and Tim Priester,

and it was always that December before signing day was when all the recruiting was done, you know. And the calendar certainly changed. But for us, people like us, it's great because we always have lots of awesome Notre Dame topics and college football topics to talk about. And so, Mike, I would be remiss if we didn't talk a lot about a little bit about Notre Dame's offensive line to kick things off today, right?

Doesn't it start with the big boys up front?

And I think it's absolutely pertinent, especially for this 20, 26 team, Mike,

because there's a lot of talk about how good the defense could be and the town on defense

and the transfer portal pickups and CJ Carr and there's all these really important topics, but I just keep coming back

to this right here. If this Notre Dame team is going to live up to expectations in 2026,

there's one group that's going to have to, in my opinion, more than anybody else, really step up and carry this unit, and it's the Notre Dame offensive line.
