From 1993 to 1998, at least eight women disappeared within an 80-mile radius of Dublin. Law enforcement treated each case individually, but in the eyes of the public, there seemed to be a possible connection. These ranged from the victim's partners to suggesting that a serial offender could be responsible. In one case, charges were filed twice but then dropped.
