Summary

Eight women disappeared without a trace from the eastern part of Ireland between 1993 and 1998. Authorities have gone to great lengths to solve these cases but have not had any luck finding evidence. In this first segment, I will discuss the details of their disappearances. In the next segment, I will discuss suspects and the possibility that a serial killer was operating in the area at the time. 0:53.0	Tonight I will be covering Ireland's vanishing triangle.
0:57.0	It is a story of eight women who disappeared from the east coast of Ireland in the 1990s.
1:03.0	I will be splitting this into two parts because there was a lot of information to share.
1:09.0	26-year-old Annie McCarrick was the first woman to go missing.
1:13.0	She disappeared on March 26, 1993.
1:18.0	Annie had been sharing an apartment with two other roommates in Dublin, Ireland.
1:22.0	She ran errands that day, including going to the grocery store and to the bank.
1:27.0	She left later that day to go walking in NS Carry, which is about a half hour away from her home.
1:33.0	She was supposed to pick up her paycheck that day but never showed up.
1:37.0	There was a possible sighting of Annie on the number 44 bus headed to NS Carry around 3.30pm that day.
1:45.0	Around 9pm there was another possible sighting of her at Johnny Fox's pub in Glen Cullen.
1:51.0	Witnesses saw a woman matching her description there with a man that night.
1:56.0	It is important to note that Annie did not have a boyfriend at the time.
1:59.0	Annie had plans to have a dinner party at her place the next day.
2:03.0	Her friends went to her apartment but Annie was not there.
