We had an interesting email from a listener called Olivia in regards to Georgina Chapman's

Vogue interview which we discussed on our live episode a couple of weeks ago which we

very much enjoyed. Thank you very much to everyone who attended.

Anyway, back to Olivia's email which was in reference to one of our topics.

Choosing US Vogue certainly did weave together her roles as both fashion designer and wife,

which I'm sure many like you would have preferred would kept separate.

But the two are intrinsically linked. The context helped to spell the often inferred.

Her career has got to wear it as because Harvey bullied stylish to wear her clothes on the red carpet.

A reductive and undermining conclusion. She was clearly able to call in favours from Hollywood,

but it is not as if calling in favours or using your name as unheard of in fashion.

Think Victoria Beckham and Stella McCartney. It transformed her from a two-dimensional,

pretty wife to a well-rounded human struggling to come to grips with her reality,

but determined to move forward for children. Yes, Vogue is primarily a fashion bible,

but it's also a magazine that captures the zeitgeist.

And in a post-MeToo age where the spirit of the moment is one where women are speaking up,

Georgina too has the right to speak up and not be silent because of the actions of a man.

She should also be able to do so using a forum that she knows and is comfortable with
