Iran does not want to commit to stop trying or commit to never try again to build a nuclear weapon because

they're trying to build a nuclear weapon. They won't commit, as J.D. Vance said, to stop pursuing

the tools to try building a nuclear weapon because we destroyed the tools that they already

built. The nuclear facilities

last June are destroyed, but they're trying to achieve more centrifuges, more equipment to further

enrich the uranium that they have that they're in possession of right now. It's been enriches 60%,

which is far beyond the threshold for civilian energy production. Vance pointed out they will not

commit to stop pursuing new tools and equipment

that will help them achieve a nuclear weapon.
