In Iran this September, the biggest protests in years erupted across the country.

Protests breaking out in Iran, following the death of a woman arrested for violating

the country's modesty laws.

A death has caused anger in parts of the country.

Over season Iran, the government is cracking down on demonstrators following nearly a

week of mass protests over the death.

Masa Amini was 22 when Iran's morality pleased to taint her for allegedly violating the

state's Islamic dress code.

The nationwide demonstrations that followed her death quickly escalated.

Iranian women are protesting the streets in defiance of morality laws.

Video from the protests shows many burning their hijabs and cutting their hair.

Human rights groups say at least 50 people have been killed during the unrest.

After two weeks of protests and brutal government backlash, the protests, the biggest since

2019, have touched a nerve.

Even this month, the protesters and authorities have continued to clash.

Human rights activists say 400 people were killed and thousands arrested since the protests

started in September.

And nearly three months after the day Masa Amini died, protesters are still in the streets

rallying for her.
