President Donald Trump has been talking about a regime change in Iran, but the White House

is playing down his comments.

The president's posture and our military posture has not changed.

The president was just simply raising a question that I think many people around the world

are asking.

If the Iranian regime

refuses to give up their nuclear program or engage in talks, why shouldn't the Iranian people

rise up against this brutal terrorist regime?

That was White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, speaking after Trump posted on social media,

quote, make Iran great again, why wouldn't there be a regime change?

It comes as Iranian officials, protesters, and military commanders are all vowing to retaliate

for the U.S. strikes or nuclear facilities.

We're still yet to hear from the Supreme Leader Ali Hamenei, but Iran's foreign ministry
