We begin with secret diplomatic efforts to bring Iran back to the negotiating table for a nuclear deal.

Key players from the U.S. and the Middle East have talked with the Iranians behind the scenes,

even amid the flurry of military strikes on three of Tehran's nuclear facilities.

One of the proposals the Trump administration has discussed is possibly helping Iran access

as much as $30 billion to build a civilian energy-producing nuclear program, as well as easing

sanctions and freeing up billions of dollars in restricted Iranian funds. That's according to four sources familiar with the matter.

But one consistent non-negotiable is zero enriched uranium,

which Iran says it needs.

One official insisted that America's Arab partners would foot the bill for the program.

However, Iran says it has no plans to resume nuclear talks with the U.S.

Its foreign minister cited Washington's history of, quote, betraying the negotiations

in the middle of the process during previous diplomatic efforts.

Now to an all-Senate-classified briefing on the situation in Iran after last weekend's

U.S. military strikes on those nuclear sites.
